SKIN is our most reached for buttery tallow cream and the one we start almost everyone on for very sensitive skin. Two ingredients: grass fed and grass finished Australian tallow from a single regenerative farm on the NSW South Coast, blended with 100% organic golden jojoba oil. Nothing else.

Tallow works because it is structurally close to the lipids your own skin makes. It absorbs rather than sitting on the surface, and it brings with it the naturally occurring vitamins A, D, E and K that support a comfortable, well functioning skin barrier. Jojoba is the closest plant oil to human sebum, which is why the two sit so well together.

It is fragrance free, seed oil free and preservative free (always), so there is very little in it to react to. That is why it suits eczema prone, psoriasis prone, reactive and baby skin, and why so many people land here after trying everything else.

Use it anywhere. Face, body, hands, cracked heels, growing bellies. Warm a small amount between your fingertips and press it into damp skin. A little goes a long way.

Note: Our SKIN tallow cream does have a natural tallow scent due to its purity and minimal rendering. If you are new to tallow and would still like to try its beautiful benefits, we have three naturally scented options CALM , ROSE, & ZEST.


Storage: Keep in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Tallow will solidify in cooler temperatures. Due to the natural and organic nature of our ingredients, variations in appearance and texture may occur between batches as a result of seasonal and temperature changes. Rest assured, these differences are normal and do not affect the performance or effectiveness of our products in any way. 

Note: For those with sensitive skin, we always recommend conducting a patch test on a small area before full application.

  • Start with clean, dry hands

Scent

SKIN is unscented. No essential oils, no fragrance, nothing added.

What you will notice is the tallow itself: a mild, slightly nutty aroma, and sometimes a faint beef note. That scent is the point. Most tallow brands bleach and deodorise their tallow to remove it, and in doing so they strip out the fatty acids and vitamins that make tallow worth using. We never do. The scent is what unprocessed/un-messed with tallow smells like.

It fades within a minute or two as the cream absorbs. Because there is no added fragrance, this is the option we recommend for eczema prone, psoriasis prone and highly sensitive skin.
